It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

I started The Humanity Project by Jean Thompson, which is a late April release, a few days ago and it’s already caught me pretty quickly.

And I just started The Love Song of Jonny Valentine last night in hopes that I can have it done for Thursday to chat with Teddy Wayne along with the Critical Era GoodReads group. I’ve been excited about this book since before it came out, but missed it around its release. I’m glad this gave me a push to pick it up.

  • I have less than 20 pages left in Woke Up Lonely- sharp and unusual. Tonight I’ll start In the Shadow of the Banyon.

  • Oh, I really wanted to read Woke Up Lonely but was waiting to hear a few more reviews!

  • I thought Jonny Valentine was crazy good. Such a great commentary on our celebrity obsessed culture. I hope you end up enjoying it as much as I did!

Happy Monday and have a fab week!

  • The Humanity Project sounds interesting. This is the first I’ve heard of it!

  • These two are both new to me, thanks for spotlighting them! Off to check them out on Goodreads…

  • They’re both off to great starts!
