September Reading Wrap-Up

september reading wrap up post

As predicted, August was a bit of an extreme reading month and I’m sitting right around where I imagine I’ll usually be with 15 books for September. But what you might also notice is the small number of links. That’s a combination of two things: I’m reading pretty well ahead of  publication dates and I’m behind on reviews. While I don’t review everything I read, other than the few I already have scheduled (The Pure Gold Baby, Cartwheel) there are at least three or four books here that I’ve been meaning to write about…so I promise I’ll get on that!

The Pure Gold Baby by Margaret Drabble
A Sport and a Pastime by James Salter
Why Do Only White People Get Abducted by Aliens? by Ilana Garon
The Tilted World by Tom Franklin and Beth Ann Fennelly
Lighthouse Island by Paulette Jiles
Brilliance by Anthony McCarten
The Funeral Dress by Susan Gregg Gilmore
The Altarpiece by Sarah Kennedy
The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure
Cartwheel by Jennifer DuBois
Pastrix by Nadia Bolz-Weber
The Last Winter of Dani Lancing by P.S. Viner
My Heart is an Idiot: Essays by Davy Rothbart
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Difficult Men by Brett Martin

Favorites? Cartwheel and The Tilted World!
